There are only a handful of restaurants that stand out with a perfect ambiance along with the right delicacy and authenticity of classic Indian cuisines, and Antique Bazar in Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai is definitely one of them! It is an award-winning restaurant which has been beautifully carrying out the legacy of serving delectable Indian cuisine that once ruled the hearts of the Royal families of India. It is so gorgeously decorated, perfectly resembling the type of eateries you would probably find in Southern India. Apart from the good food, you get to enjoy live Indian folk music and watch servers dressed up in authentic costumes whizz by. It’s an exquisite dining experience overall!
Foodwise, their Ala’Carte menu is so vast and tasteful, it has been running strong for years now. However this time, we went in to try the unlimited Thaali lunch that the restaurant has newly introduced for weekdays. Thaali is a traditional form of serving Indian food with a selection of appetizers, main and desserts all in one large platter, so it’s big indulgence at a small price. The Thaali menu changes everyday and the non-veg one we ordered had a meat dish, a chicken curry and daal. Apart from the brilliantly cooked proteins, we also loved the crunchy papadoms, pickles, raita and chutneys which improved the taste and appeal of the food for us. Also, if you are a hardcore lover of Indian cuisine, you won’t be able to stop raving about their flat bread sparkling with all that butter, and so soft to chew!
Everything was literally finger licking good, and the price is a real steal for such a fulfilling meal! I would highly recommend it to everyone who’s a fan of original tasting Indian food. Go for it guys, if you haven’t already!
