Would you like to bite into some tasty, made-to-order food? If yes, then Blaze Burgers at JBR is where you should be heading to. This is a much popular Bahraini brand which has made its way into Dubai not too long ago. The eatery flaunts a large indoor and outdoor dining area, along with eye-catching graffiti wall art all around which makes it a perfect trendy place to catch up with friends over some great food.
The concept here is pretty simple. Instead of ordering a standard burger, you actually get the privilege to customize one as per your preference! First you chose the meat, then the bread, next comes the toppings and sauces for which there is a huge shelf comprising of different sauces, and finally you chose your fries or other sides. Also, there’s good news for weight watchers, you can opt for your burger to be prepared in a whole-wheat bun or a lettuce instead of the regular soft white bun.
We opted for the juicy Gourment Wagyu Burger, an absolute delight for beef lovers, and the Blaze Original which came done up in lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup mustard, homemade pickled onions, cheddar cheese and burned cheddar. The burned cheddar was something unique and added to the texture of the burger, giving it an additional crunch. We also tried the Blue & Crunchy burger put together with Arugula, homemade pickled onions, crunchy chips, garlic mayo, blue cheese and cheddar. So these were three burgers altogether, one arriving in a beautiful lettuce wrap while the other two in buns, and each comprising of well seasoned meat and flavorsome sauces plus condiments.
For fries, we helped ourselves to the genuinely spiced Cajun fries, which are must try for spicy food lovers, the lovely scoopers and the steamy Angry fries which were certainly a win with melted cheese, spicy sauce, jalapeno and roasted peppers. The onion rings were great too. Everything had genuine spice levels and authentic taste. In between our meal, we sipped on our refreshing mocktails. Our picks from the mocktail bar were the Tropical Lime and the Original Mohito which had cucumber inside.
Even the dessert menu was too good to resist. We had the Salty Treat, a pretzel based treat served in a curros cup, topped with peanuts M&Ms and salted caramel, and the rich flavored Chocolate Overdose done up with hot chocolate fudge, chocolate sauce and peanuts. Both tasted as appealing as they looked.
On the whole, it was an interesting experience and the staff was very friendly. You will be bowled over by the prices that are really economical for such good taste. Besides, the location is excellent as the restaurant can be found at the start of JBR, which means that you won’t get caught up in traffic even if you go on a busy day. So meat lovers who like their food hot and spicy, Blaze Burgers is a spot you shouldn’t miss out!
