Labbys the Hellenic House

Dubai is a haven for foodies like me. With new restaurants opening up every day you never run out of places to try, but sadly restaurants offering Greek cuisine are rather limited. Labbys The Hellenic House is one of those options. Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, it is a chic place with beautiful whitewashed interiors, relaxing atmosphere and delectable Greek dishes.

I had a great iftaar there yesterday. The service was excellent- food was served on time, staff was friendly and all ingredients used were fresh and delicious in taste.

Here’s what I had:

Greek Traditional Salad-Fresh Crispy Vegetables with oregano and olive oil. The feta on top was of an amazing quality.

The fresh, in-house baked breads were served with 4 dips- Tzatiki, Fava, Tyrokafteri and Egg Plant Salad. My favourite was the Tzatiki.

Grilled Feta Cheese- It was loaded with vegetables. This was such a surprise dish. So delicious!

Chicken Gyros- You can’t be at a Greek place and not eat a Gyro. These are also known as pita souvlaki wrap. They were juicy, filled with fresh ingredients and just, plain yum!

Yiaourtlou Kebab- This dish is a must try for all meat eaters! These kebabs were so moist, perfectly spiced, aromatic and Greek yogurt and tomato sauce made it just a perfect dish to dig in to.

Soutzoukaki-  these are meat balls. Aromatic, moist and delicious. I loved the and cut potato fries that were served with these.

Loukoumades- These were doughy balls that were deep fried and served with Nutella and honey

Their drinks menu is very limited. Could use some addition especially considering Dubai weather. I had the lemon mint.

They serve lavazza coffee which is one of my favorite coffee brands so I had that at the end.

Be sure to drop by soon or get their wonderful food delivered at home. You won’t be disappointed.
